Always use fresh water, low in chlorine and calcium salts.
Heat the water to just below boiling point, about 90-95°Celsius. At this temperature the water begins to roar slightly.
The tea leaves should be added to a pre-heated Tea pot, preferable ceramic or glass. One level tea spoon is
sufficient for one cup or one tea bag.
The hot water should be immediately poured over the tea leaves, the pot covered and given time to brew.
After the stipulated time, which may vary depending on the type of tea used (see time below) the tea may be gently stirred,
and poured into cups through a tea strainer.
In the case of tea bags the bag can be placed directly in the cup of hot water poured over it.
Additives like sugar, mike, lemon etc., may be used as per individual preferences.

For hot tea: Drop one tea bag in your cup and fill with freshly boiled water. Steep 3 to 5 minutes until the tea is a clear crimson amber, then enjoy.
For iced tea: Use 2 cups of boiling water for 3 tea bags. Brew for 3 to 5 minutes. Add 2 cups cold water. Chill and enjoy. Add a few orange slices as a natural sweetener.
